Huck N Bombs

Our Catskiing Canada team had an insane visit at Valhalla Powder Snowcats located near Nelson BC.  Adam had arrived just injured himself before the trip..

You would never know that he isn’t a 100% when you see him take on some of the terrain at Valhalla.

Did he stomp it or did he bomb it? Will have to wait to see in the upcoming Untracked Guides article!

We filmed at Selkirk Wilderness Skiing for Episode 3 of Powder Guides for The Ski channel and thought we would share a quick little clip from some of our footage with lead guide Jason.

A typical day of Catskiing  is usually all about powder turns. However, If you ask your guides nicely and have demonstrated a bit of skill.. they may point out a few features to “Huck your Meat”.

For the most part there is always a fairly reasonable way down to the cats.

When your with a media crew and your looking to get a few good photos it pays off to ask one of your guides to not just show you a drop.. but perhaps show you how to nail it.

Joe was our willing participant and thanks to some radio guiding with lead guide Scott he stomped the landing avoiding what he notified as a “Giant Ice Cookie” just left of his landing (just out of photo frame)

Thanks Joe!

Catskiing Canada filmed At K3 Catski this past couple of day. One cool thing is the owners “Eat their own dog food” sorta speak.. They drive Cats, sled and ride. One of the perks for owner Kris is he can pepper in some deep turns in between working on the roads and driving the cat.

Revelstoke BC is fast becoming a destination with a steep and deep reputation. I think Karl is just adding to his rap sheet of powder infractions.

Every once in a while you wake up and find yourself starting your day somewhere that only matches a postcard or a dream you had at some point in time.

What's your view?
